If there is one thing I’ve learned this year it’s how to be comfortable being at home 24/7. And my answer is make your home your palace - whatever that means to you.
To me, that means proper palatial footwear at all times.
Therefore, I present to you my comprehensive guide to slipper fashion.
UGG FLUFF YEAH SLIDE POPPY $135 CAD - 3 colour ways, W sizes only
Ugg really came out of the gate swinging with their new line of slippers. I really love the slingback design and all the colour ranges.
I’ve included some of my favourites below but I recommend taking some time out of your day to browse their selection. The only frustrating part about their slippers is that many colour choices are difficult to find in Canada - I spent two months waiting for the colour I wanted to be available on a Canadian site.
The Poppy slides are one of their newest styles and I love the retro vibe.
UGG FLUFF YEAH SLIDE PRIDE $125 CAD - 3 colour ways, Unisex sizing
Their Fluff Yeah slides are hands down my favourite in terms of style - I love the slightly raised platform. And I think they’ll pair with spring fashion quite nicely (though I wouldn’t recommend wearing them outside often).
This specific collection uses the Pride colours and comes in both M&W sizing but there are a lot more colour choices in this style including simple monochrome options.
UGG DISCO CHECKER SLIDE $140 CAD - 3 colour ways, W sizes only
Because of their height, the checker slides dip more into shoe territory than strictly slippers but if you want a little more fashion at home than these are perfect.
ANTHROPOLOGIE LEXIE SLIPPERS $38 CAD - Multiple colour ways - W sizes only
If you’re more of a flat slipper person these criss-cross cuties are definitely the vibe. I love the different tones as well as the style. Anthropologie has a lot of options if you’re looking for a similar style and don’t want to shop Amazon.
Also a great option if your feet tend to get too hot in fully enclosed slippers.
ANTHROPOLOGIE SADIE SLIPPERS $38 CAD - 7 colour ways - W sizes only
I actually own a pair of these ones and I really like them, they’re super cozy and soft and I love wearing them around the house, especially in the morning.
They come in a really great collection of colours and are perfect for adding a little bit of finery to your pj’s or sweats.
JEFFREY CAMPBELL CRUSH ON YOU MARIBOU SLIPPERS - $135 CAD - W sizes only
I am almost positive I had a version of these when I was 6 years old and wore them around the house religiously.
Obviously these will be a lot less comfortable than your average slipper, but you will most definitely feel like a true vintage babe if you pair these with a lacy robe and neglige.
ARIANA BOHLING DADE POM SLIPPER BLUSH - $95 USD - W sizes only
If you love the vintage vibe but like to be cozy then these are perfect.
I just can’t resist these split colour pompoms and how quintessentially 1960’s these slippers are.
This company also uses cruelty-free Alpaca wool and is a woman-owned business based out of Brooklyn, NY.
J/S BRYCE SAND CURLY SHEARLING $159 USD - 10 Colours Ways - W sizes only
These slides were designed to be both indoors and outdoors, the raised rubber soles keeps the shearling clean and off the ground.
Personally, I would probably reserve these for outside purposes - perfect for grocery runs, garbage day or any opportunity where you want a bit of extra comfort for your feet.
UGG FLUFF YOU CALI COLLAGE $120 CAD - Multiple colour ways, M sizes only
Unfortunately, men’s slipper fashion has not taken quite the same leap that women’s slippers have. But please remember that slippers remain genderless, M&W designation is purely for sizing.
Ugg still put out some fairly good options in their Fluff You style — these Cali Collage ones are my favourite.

When in doubt, go Versace.
